Feel the cool breeze as you approach ( 6.7 miles from Rockmart) the 750' long Brushy Mountain Tunnel. Make your own decision and continue to bike and soak in the solitude of riding through the beautiful Paulding Forest Wildlife Management Area. Take a short rest and enjoy the view of outdoors from the Pumpkinvine Trestle. Continue on to Rambo’s Trail Head, take a deep breath and return to Rockmart with a total distance of 30 miles. This is easy to moderate for the average rider.

Get your self energized with a early morning grits and grease style meal before a long distance remote country ride from Cedartown. Roll out of the Cedartown Welcome Center located on S. Main Street and bike or roller blade West on the Silver Comet Trail (10.4) miles to the GA/AL state line. After passing through the archway continue on the Chief Ladiga Trail to the Eubanks Welcome Center in Piedmont, AL. You will travel through several communities, view mountain peaks, wet lands and see a short link of the Pinhoti Hiking Trail prior to and after the third bridge. During your trip, you will crossover Terrapin Creek at four different locations. The ride is easy to moderate if you are in good condition and have some long distance riding experience. Total round trip about 47 miles. (See Previous Ride Maps for map details of this ride)
