CEDARTOWN MEMORIAL DAY BICYCLE AND ROLLER BLADE RIDE ANNUAL EVENT

The 2009 Cedartown Memorial Day Bicycle and Roller Blade Event was held on Monday, May 25th, 2009 and was hosted by the Georgia Rails Into Trails Society, Inc. (GRITS). We had 246 registered participants, a large volunteer staff and a plenty of good food.

The weather was cloudy and overcast and although the riders/bladers on the 20 mile event had nice conditions throughout their event, the 47 mile and the Metric Century riders/bladers did encountered some rain. Overall, however, everything turned out well and thanks to our event director, Lovie Davis, everyone had a good time.
